It was exciting when the patio doors were fitted, but the really important event was the arrival of the ice-cream storage unit (or fridge as some may want to call it).
Sadly not all of it is for ice-cream, apparently other food will be stored in there as well. Although that may be a good thing, as it is slightly bigger than we were expecting. I'm not sure either of us are going to be able to reach the top shelf, so be careful if you ever visit and get offered something off it!
In case you are wondering, we checked and it only hold enough food for 14 people, so unfortunately we can't host Christmas, it just won't fit.
The hob, oven and other kitchen stuff has also turned up, but that is less interesting, or it is to one of us who is not yet sick of microwave food. Someone else may think differently.
The flooring for the rest of the ground floor has also been delivered, and is getting used to the house.
Along with the deliveries, we have also settled on the paint colours. In the end we decided that the blue was lovely but too dark for the whole kitchen. So most will be white, with the blue being used in a few areas.
