Having decided on a kitchen now it is time to play around with the layout. Between controversial windows and pipes running to the first floor, oven location is the big problem. The initial thought is to have the main run of cupboards down the right hand side
The fridge has the pipes behind it including the gas pipe so we can't put the ovens there. One idea, which allows us to have above counter ovens, is to build a small wall to enclose it. There could be an island off it to make it more of a feature.

Perhaps the strangest view will be from the door coming into the kitchen. There will be a wall which stops the view into the garden.

The central island bit is too far over in this image, the gap could not be that wide without eating into the dining section. One view is that it gives more of a divide between the kitchen and the dining room, plus we could decorate that wall with something fun. It may also help to stop the room being too echo-y.
The other option, which sadly we don't have images for yet, would be to have the ovens side by side under a longer central island. This would mean we didn't have the tall central block, and would give more worktop space, but would mean all the ovens were below the counter.
So does the central tower island work, or would you have the long work top?
