With the floors down in the two extensions, and the valley between the side and the main house boxed in the house is a lot less drafty. Combined with the milder weather and it is almost tropical in the house, so much so we haven't bothered to put the heating on this evening.
Very sadly I have just looked at the thermostat and it is only 12C (54F). We may be taking the energy saving a little too far.
