General progress

There are only a few big jobs left now, the main one being the rooves. Thankfully the weather finally looks to be playing ball and with the roofers booked in for the next two weeks, the forecast looks good. It will be great to finally get them sorted and to see what a difference insulating the main slope makes to the temperature in the house.

In the meantime we have been testing out how the table fits in the space.

The newspaper is the size of table we are planning, it doesn't look very big. In fact it is 3m long by 1m wide. We wanted to check there was space to walk down the side of it and there seems to be space.

We have also been looking at lights for above the island and table.

We seem to like our UFO style lights.

The celotex has been going in the voids in the roof and it is now all boarded up in the kitchen ready for plastering next week.

It's going to be nice in there in the morning, lots of sun.  It wont be long until they are on to decorating, which is scary.  The windows go in next week, plastering will be done along with the rooves.  Then they just have to finish it all off.

Oh, and we have ordered the kitchen so no going back now!
