The start of a slippery road

Outside things are looking cleaner. With the porch started, and the front cleared we can start to see what it will look like once the builders leave.

In the back, the fences are down so the new posts can be put in.  Seeing it like this makes me think how nice it would be to have a garden that big.  They had better get the fence up quickly or I may get ideas and start digging up next door as well.

Inside the list of jobs is being ticked off, most importantly the glass splash backs arrived.

They fit almost perfectly which is good.  It is scary to think that mums net ideas work out so well. They suggested that instead of setting the plug and then getting the glass company in to do a template, it is easier to get the electrician to draw the plug on the wall, and the provide the template yourself. If the cut-out for the plug is not exact it does not matter as the electrician can then fit the plug to match the hole.  Well it worked perfectly.

The glass changes colour depending on the light, so we had to play around to try out all different lights.

The question is, now the orange has got a foothold in the house how much more is going to appear?
