It has been a fun weekend, with almost no house cleaning. We are gradually getting used to the house and the different views, the moon seems to appear through the studio skylights.
Should be amazing when we get one of the really large moons.
With a nice warm evening we took the opportunity to sit outside and have a few games of backgammon (it would be rude to say who won). It looks much nicer without a camera flash.
We tried to get muttley to join us, but being outside at night with foxes was far too exciting and she just charged around the garden snorting. Once the garden is finished it is going to be a lovely place to sit in the evening.
Then today, the finishing touches started on the fences. We are seeing what it looks like as we go on this one. It doesn't go down low enough at the moment and doesn't look quite right, but it's fun to start getting some plants on the walls again. I'm going to have to find the rest of the hooks, as I'm sure there were a lot more than this.
There are discussion on what colour they will end up. one of us think they may look better painted, the other strongly disagrees. Watch this space to find out who wins (and if they were right).
I am sure this summer will be full of weekends like this.
